The early Dolma pepper variety Asti Yellow is characterised by its yellow fruit colour. The enticing colour is not the only attraction of the variety, the peppers are quite large and aromatic. Their fleshy texture makes them particularly appreciated in cooking. A popular dish in which we use these varietal Dolma peppers is stuffed with rice.

When they first develop, their colour is greenish; as they ripen botanically, they become the familiar yellow peppers perfect for sunny salads. The bright, eye-catching yellow colour hints at the freshness that Asti Yellow peppers bring. Eat fresh, as a combination with other vegetables too, in fresh salads for example with tomatoes, onions, basil, parsley or yellow and red peppers.

The combination of fresh vegetable products will also bring your body beneficial substances. And these peppers Asti Yellow variety in their content include many vitamin-rich ingredients and mineral ones.

Apart from eating fresh and cooking in different variations, we also use Dolma pepper of the said variety for canning. Making winter vegetables is something traditional in the country. Pickles, colourful and interesting, are inevitably present on our table.

Some include the bright red fruits of the Bulgarian-grown cambium Ratund, others contain bright orange Nantes carrots and the colourful White Snowball cabbage. Thanks to the yellow pepper Asti Yellow, you can also enjoy a pleasant yellow colour that mysteriously 'peeks' out of the jar.

Due to its great commercial appearance and perfect taste, the variety is preferred by many producers and restaurants who grow their own vegetables.

When sowing one acre of cultivated area, prepare 150 to 180 grams of seed of the yellow pepper type Dolma, variety Asti Yellow. This weight will be sufficient, provided the sowing is for early yield. For medium and late, prepare 180 to 200 grams of seed.
