Because the peppers have a rather interesting appearance, with a curled top, a good option is to use the peppers as an arrangement for a main dish. You can put them whole or cut them into slices.

If you choose to grow this variety, prepare about 150 to 200 grams per hectare of cultivated area. As a seed depth, keep to 0,5 to 1 cm. Do not sow very deeply.

Sowing for early yield should be done in the first two weeks of February, for medium yield in the first twenty days of March. Soil temperatures need to be at least 15 degrees for the seeds to show above ground.

Bring the pre-made seedlings out into the open once you are satisfied that temperatures have settled into a consistently positive range. This way you won't have to worry about young plants possibly freezing.

When transplanting the sprouted plants, leave about 25 cm from one plant to the next. This will leave vital space for the fruit to develop.

Cigaretta di Bergamo type pepper plants are sweet. If you prefer spicy vegetables try growing Roquita hot red peppers from seed.

As a guide to whether the seedlings are ready for the open, note the appearance of two well-formed petals.

It takes about 90 days to grow.
