As seed sowing times go by the following - early sowing in the first 15 days of February, medium in the first 20 days of March, late in the first 15 days of spring April.

Depending on the different types of production, the seeds are placed differently in terms of depth. When sowing for early yields, put the seed 0,5 to 1 cm into the soil. When sowing for the other two productions, namely medium/late sow 2 to 3 centimetres.

Spread the pre-prepared seedlings in rows 15 centimetres apart, one plant to the next. Leave about 60 centimetres from one row to the next. This tried-and-tested scheme allows room for future cambium to develop.

As a minimum, 15 degrees is required for seedling growth. Of course, watering is also very important for germination, as for all crops.

If you are sowing an acre of ground, prepare 150 to 180 grams of seed.
