Lolo Bionda lettuce is an early lettuce variety, has a great growth rate in its sprouting phase and produces a bountiful harvest when properly cared for.

This curly lettuce is sown in spring - in February, and exclusively in greenhouses or greenhouses. Sowing outdoors takes place at the beginning of March. The seeds are sown 1 to 1,5 cm deep in the soil.

This variety of lettuce has very fine and tender leaves which are curly and the colour is a fresh, appetizing green.

A big plus of the curly Lolo Bionda is the fact that this lettuce has great cold hardiness and develops extremely well in our weather conditions, both for outdoors and indoors in polythene and glass greenhouses.

In order for this type of curly lettuce to germinate, which happens one to two weeks after sowing, temperatures must be kept within a range of more than 15 to 20 degrees Celsius, although the seeds will also germinate at temperatures of 1 to 3 degrees Celsius.

Because of its nutritional, dietary and medicinal properties, curly lettuce is very popular and much sought after. It is rich in useful ingredients and substances, such as sugars, proteins, cellulose, potassium salts, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, as well as vitamins of groups C, B, K, PP.

This variety of lettuce is used with great success in making a number of fresh salads. The Lolo Bionda can be grown literally all over the country, in all soil and climatic conditions, producing good yields, it is not a demanding species, it is highly adaptable, cold hardy and drought tolerant.
