Bulgarian table F1 has won awards for innovative breeding methods and is widely popular among vegetable growers not only in our country, but also abroad.

The innovative resistant Bulgarian tomato variety produces exceptionally high yields when grown properly, while producing strong roots and powerful stems that allow it to bear abundant fruit. It is easily adaptable to the temperature variations that characterise our climate and is highly resistant to cold or heat, so it can easily be grown anywhere in our country.

Resistant varieties of Bulgarian table F1 tomatoes are large and, under optimal development conditions, reach weights of 250 to 300 grams. They have a bright red colour, great taste, fleshy and dense consistency without pulp impurities, intense tomato aroma. The main advantage of the hardy variety is that it is firm and non-cracking, which makes it convenient for storage and transport, as well as for commercial purposes.

Among the many great advantages of this type of tomato is that it is highly resistant to a number of diseases common to most of our other tomato varieties. Bulgarian Trapezoid F1 is resistant to verticillium, fusarium and tobacco mosaic; it is also highly tolerant to septoria, anthracnose and alternaria.

The variety thrives equally well with proper care indoors in a greenhouse or greenhouse as it does outdoors in open farmland because it is highly adaptable and vigorous, grower research shows.

The variety is valued and used equally successfully for early and medium production in Bulgarian vegetable growing.

Indoors, the seeds of the resistant Bulgarian table tomato F1 are sown in January and February, and outdoors in February and March.

Indoor sowing takes place in March and April and outdoor sowing from the 15th day of April to the 15th day of May.

In single-row cultivation, a distance of 80 cm from row to row and 40 cm between individual plants in the row is left. If using the double-row method, leave 55 cm between the first two rows, 80 cm between the next two rows and 40 cm between individual plants in the row, according to the recommendations of the grower Florian Ltd.

To sow an area of 1 hectare you need 20 to 25 grams of seeds of resistant varieties of Bulgarian table F1 tomatoes.

Tomato yields from this variety are impressive, reaching up to 10-12 tonnes per acre when tomato plants are properly treated throughout their development.

The tomatoes are ideal to eat fresh as a salad, garnish or decoration for dishes, as well as for cooking and for making canned tomatoes. The variety is particularly valued for export by vegetable wholesalers.
